Bible Trivia Questions

What are Bible Trivia Questions at Christian Bible Studies? The American Heritage Dictionary defines trivia as; “Insignificant or inessential matters; trifles.” [1]

However, the bible literally deals with life and death, neither of which is trivial.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correctingand training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”[2]

There's nothing trivial in scripture.

This section is because it’s a convenient place to put information not easily categorized any place else. Bible Trivia is a search term used by many to search for miscellaneous Bible knowledge. Therefore trivia is a good category for the following kinds of Biblical information:

Bible answers  Bible facts  Bible promises  Bible quizzes
Bible questions  Bible names  blacks in Bible

A Bible study of the loosely related information in this section is more valuable than you might suspect. Because the Bible is not just any document, it has properties (power) not found, for example in a dictionary or novel or textbook.

John 6:63b (NIV)
“The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.” [2]

Jesus declares in the above verse that His Words are pregnant with reality; i.e. spiritual life. And so every Word of His we peruse or casually ingest, whether in formal Bible studies or looking for so called Bible trivia, is relevant.
